School's out forever for Pat Decker! This time it is for good. Mrs. Decker served in education for 53 years. She was a classroom teacher for 31 before retiring from the classroom. She returned as an instructional assistant where she served faithfully for an additional 22 years. Mrs. Decker had a passion for working with students, and though she no longer managed a classroom, she was zealous about helping students to progress and improve. Such was her dedication to her job that she annually received an accolade for having perfect attendance. Her quiet demeanor, pursuit of excellence, and incomparable work ethic was admired by many.
